Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 12, 2026

This page explains how we use cookies on the Axiva website. It covers what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can control them. We don't bury anything in fine print here. If you've accepted or rejected cookies through our banner, this page gives you the detail behind that choice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. They help sites remember things about your visit, like your preferences or whether you've been there before. Some cookies disappear when you close your browser (session cookies), while others stick around for a set period (persistent cookies). They're a standard part of how the web works, and practically every website uses them in some form.

Cookies we use

Here's a breakdown of the cookies on our site and what each one does:

Essential cookies

These are necessary for the site to function. Without them, core features wouldn't work. You can't opt out of these because the site simply wouldn't operate without them.

Cookie Purpose Duration
Security Token Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks. This is a security measure built into our framework. Session
Session Identifier Identifies your browser session. Required for form submissions and security features to work. 2 hours
Form Submission Tracker Tracks whether you've already submitted the contact form today. Prevents duplicate submissions. 24 hours

Preference cookies

These remember choices you make on the site.

Cookie Purpose Duration
Cookie Consent Preference Stores your cookie preference (accepted or rejected). Keeps the cookie banner from reappearing on every visit. Persistent (until cleared)

Analytics cookies

We may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors interact with our website. These help us see which pages get the most traffic, where visitors drop off, and how people find us. Analytics data is aggregated, meaning we look at trends across all visitors rather than tracking individual behavior. If you reject non-essential cookies through our banner, analytics cookies won't be set.

Local storage

In addition to cookies, we use your browser's local storage for one item: your cookie consent preference. Local storage works similarly to cookies but is only accessible by our website's JavaScript, not sent to the server with every request. It persists until you clear your browser data.

Third-party cookies

Our website loads a small number of external resources: web fonts and the international phone input library used in our contact form. These providers may set their own cookies. We've chosen providers with strong privacy practices, but their cookies are governed by their own policies, not ours.

We don't run third-party advertising on our site, and we don't use social media tracking pixels. Your visit here stays between you and us.

How to manage cookies

You have several options for controlling cookies:

  • Our cookie banner. When you first visit, we show a banner at the bottom of the page. Click "Accept All" to allow all cookies, or "Reject All" to block non-essential ones. Your choice is saved so you won't see the banner again unless you clear your browser data.
  • Browser settings. Every major browser lets you control cookies through its settings menu. You can block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or clear existing cookies. Keep in mind that blocking essential cookies may break site functionality.
  • Clearing your data. You can always clear cookies and local storage through your browser. On our site, this will reset your cookie consent preference and the contact form submission tracker.

Here's how to manage cookies in the most common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies

Changes to this policy

If we start using new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we'll reset the cookie consent banner so you can make a fresh choice.
